Join us in the Apple Barn for quality food cooked over wood & charcoal
All over this wonderful foodie planet of ours, there are traditions of cooking food underground.
This is our homage to that ancient way of cooking!

On the table
Flame grilled yogurt & onion seed flatbreads, black garlic dip, EVOO & balsamic
From the Fire Pit
A feast of locally reared pig, lightly seasoned & wrapped in banana leaves,
layered with herbed potatoes and summer veg ratatouille.
All buried in our fire pit, slowly smoked & gently steamed over Birchwood Forestry oak embers for over 24 hours!
Served buffet style with house slaw, sauer-reuben fermented turnip, Ragman’s Lane Market Garden salad, and cider mustard mayo.
Dessert
Smoked chocolate cherry tart, almond cream
The meal will be served for everyone to enjoy the food and the experience together
